  1. Who we are

The IEEE RAS Student Chapter at Jadara University, Irbid, Jordan, organizer of RoboCraft 2.0.0. We are responsible for the registration data.

  2. What we collect

    • Team: name, university, team email, track and team size.
    • Leader: full name, email, phone number.
    • Each member: full name, university, major, degree, year of study, and the pixel character they picked.
    • One IEEE membership number, and an ambassador code if you have one.
    • We do not collect national ID numbers, home addresses, photos or any payment data.
  3. Why

To coordinate the competition, check eligibility (students, an active IEEE membership), contact you about stages and results, and publish anonymous statistics (such as teams per track).

  4. Who sees it

    • Only the organizing team; the judges see the project details they need to evaluate.
    • We never sell your data or share it with anyone for marketing.
    • The team card and the success page only show the team name, track, size and characters. Qualified and winning team names are published on the results page.
  5. Where it is kept and for how long

On Vercel (the site host) and with the database provider we use, over encrypted connections and with access limited to the organizers. We delete it within 12 months after the competition ends (so by January 2028 at the latest), unless the law requires otherwise. You can ask us to delete it sooner at any time.

  6. Cookies and tracking

    • No tracking or advertising cookies.
    • The site keeps your registration draft on your own device (in the browser) so it is not lost if you close the page; it is cleared as soon as registration is complete.
    • If visit statistics are switched on, they use no cookies and no personal data.
  7. Your rights

You can ask for a copy of your data, a correction, deletion, or withdraw consent by emailing us below, in line with the Jordanian Personal Data Protection Law No. 24 of 2023.

  8. Members’ consent

The team leader enters the members’ details and confirms, when registering, that they know and agree.

  9. Security

The whole site runs over HTTPS, with protection against automated and repeated submissions, and fields only accept the characters they need. Found a vulnerability? Please report it privately by email.
